LEAD COACHES

Advanced Skills Lead Coach and
Mission Trip Director
 Since Coach Riddle’s passing, Coach Marcene Guerrero has accepted the position as Fun and Freedom’s Advanced Skills Lead Coach and Mission Trip Director.

  Coach Guerrero graduated from Azusa Pacific University where she played basketball 4 years as a starter—3 of those 4 years Azusa Pacific ranked 15th or higher in the nation.  In addition, she played basketball internationally with Athletes in Action traveling to Bolivia, Greece, the Philippines & Switzerland.  She also traveled on Fun and Freedom’s 2004 Bolivian Mission Tour as Coach Riddle’s assistant.  In addition, during the summers of 2006, 2007 & 2008 she conducted Fun and Freedom’s Advanced Skills Perimeter/Post Camps, led our 2008 Mission Trip and is currently in the planning stages of a 2009 Mission Trip. (Coach Guerrero teaches and coaches at the High School level.)

Fundamental Skills Lead Coach

 Coach Kathy Kotlinski – is an experienced Youth Basketball Coach.  Prior to coming to Fun & Freedom -  Coach “K” worked as an Assistant High School Varsity Coach, Jr. Varsity, Jr. High & Youth League Coach.  She has worked with Fun and Freedom Basketball for over 5 years and is the Lead Fundamental Skills Coach, Activities & Memorial Tournament Director.

Coaches Guerrero & Kotlinski will help lead the effort as Fun and Freedom continues to expand, grow & build on the foundation that Coach Riddle laid.

Assistant Coaches

Coach Tracy Acheson is a former High School basketball player and a former Assistant 7th - 8th grade Basketball Coach.  She has worked with Fun and Freedom Basketball for over two years.

Coach Linda Johnson is a former Gymnast and she has worked with Fun and Freedom Basketball for the past two years.

Coach Edie Koleno is a former Health & Physical Education Instructor, High School Volleyball Head Coach, Assistant Varsity  and Jr. Varsity Basketball Coach.  She has worked with Fun and Freedom Basketball for the past two years.

Coach Jeannine McCutcheon is a former High School basketball player and High School Basketball Coach.  She has worked with Fun and Freedom Basketball for the past year.

Coach Lorie Sakala is a former Youth League Basketball Coach, High School Girls Basketball Team Statistician, She has worked with Fun and Freedom for 5 years, is our Lead Referee and has held key leadership positions on our 2004 and 2005 International Bolivian Mission Trips.
